Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Sunday,
Residents of Southgate, Owen Sound, Blue Mountains and Saugeen Shores tested positive.
With eight more resolved cases, there are 52 active known cases including 34 variants.
Public Health says there are 198 active high-risk contacts associated with the region’s cases.
Three local people are hospitalized due to the virus and five people have been transferred from other health units to local ICUs.
Over the course of the pandemic there have been seven deaths linked to the virus in Grey Bruce.
There are no reported outbreaks.
8,913 COVID-19 vaccines were given in the past seven days for a total of 78,734 doses to date.
