Town of Bracebridge By-Law Enforcement Officers are working in collaboration with the Bracebridge Business Improvement Area (BIA) to support a curbside pick-up in downtown Bracebridge.
The regular turnover of vehicles is an important factor in ensuring that all patrons can quickly receive their items from downtown businesses.
At this time, there are over 500 free parking spaces within the BIA.
Most of the on-street parking spaces, and some of the high-demand parking lots, have a three-hour time limit to ensure that regular turnover is taking place.
All of the areas with restrictions in place are well-signed and motorists are encouraged to review this signage when selecting a parking space. Many downtown business owners are relying on curbside pick-up in order to continue operating during the stay-at-home order.
The Town says it is imperative that these curbside areas and downtown parking lots are available and not taken up by vehicles belonging to downtown residents and employees.
Residents and employees living and working in the downtown area have many free all-day parking areas to choose from available to them.

These links note that the Memorial Arena Lot, Woodchester Lot, Hiram Street Lot, and the Granary Lot all offer free, all-day parking.
The Downtown Lot, Bird Mill Lot, and Public Library Lot offer free three-hour parking.
Aside from curbside pick-up, delivery drivers rely on curbside parking to make their deliveries to downtown businesses; and reducing parking congestion created by downtown residents and employees is even more important at this time.
By-Law Enforcement Officers continue to enforce the parking regulations in effect throughout the Town of Bracebridge, including the downtown area, to ensure that the by-laws are followed.
The Town says this supports the efforts of small business owners and employees to continue to provide service to their customers.
