The OPP has charged six people in Machar Township with failing to comply with the Stay At Home Order.
Saturday at 12:20 am, officers with the Almaguin Highlands OPP attended Rose Anna Drive for an unlawful gathering.
As a result, six people were charged with:
- Adult Individual – failing to comply with a continued section 7.0.2 order, contrary to section 10(1) of the Reopening Ontario Act (ROA).
The OPP reports it’s doing its part to support the Ontario Governments Health Emergency Declaration to limit the transmission of COVID-19.
They say it’s important the public understands there are consequences for individuals who defy the EMCPA and ROA orders that are in place.
