Two separate Gravenhurst property owners have been charged with failing to comply with orders issued to correct Fire Code infractions at their properties to the sum of $15,000.
The Gravenhurst Fire Department reminds that owners must ensure their buildings are safe for all occupants.
Newly-appointed Gravenhurst Fire Chief Jared Cayley said via Twitter that prior charges had been laid in both cases too.
“The real focal point here is now two more properties are safer,” said Cayley. “That is our goal, community safety……always.”
