Four more virus-related deaths have been reported in our region.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health unit says the victims include two people from Barrie, one from Bradford and another from Innisfil; all over the age of 65.
It also reported 75 new COVID-19 cases, while another 59 local cases have screened positive as a variant of concern, with 1,040 of those cases still active.
The new cases reported Wednesday include:

1 Ramara
1 Springwater
1 Midland
2 Tiny
1 Penetanguishene
4 in Muskoka
1 Bracebridge
2 Gravenhurst
1 Muskoka Lakes
