Six people face charges after a drug investigation in Orillia.
April 30th, just after midnight, search warrants were executed at two residences – one on West Street and the other at an apartment on Mississaga Street.
Eight people were arrested initially, but only six were charged after a seizure of cocaine and cash.
Four of the accused – two women and two men – are from Orillia.
Charges include cocaine trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000.
Each of the accused has court dates set for June 29th in Orillia.
A young person was also held for a bail hearing, while two others who weren’t charged were released.
