The District says to expect overnight road closures on Peninsula Road at the Port Sandfield Swing Bridge while upgrade work starts this week.

Final bridge balancing work will occur in the overnight hours of Monday May 10th and Tuesday May 11th.

The bridge and road will remain fully open during the day.

Closure hours will be as follows:

Road closed overnight on Monday, May 10, 2021

• Road closed at 9:00 pm on Monday, May 10, 2021
• Road reopens at 5:30 am on Tuesday, May 11, 2021

Road closed overnight on Tuesday, May 11, 2021

• Road closed at 9:00 pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021
• Road reopens at 5:30 am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021
