Two people have been charged after an anti-mask/lockdown demonstration in Collingwood.
Saturday, some people gathered in the area of First Street and Hurontario Street for a demonstration.
Officers on the scene said most were cooperative with police, but two people were charged for failing to comply with an order made during a declared emergency.
Fines are $750 for failing to comply with an order and $1,000 for preventing others from following one.
Maximum fines for individuals are up to $100,000 and $10 million for a corporation.
Failure to follow the rules can also result in prosecution or jail time.
Anyone who believes a gathering is not following the law or that a business is operating illegally should report it to their local municipal bylaw enforcement authorities or police.
