The Ontario Tankard being held in Saugeen Shores next year has announced its title sponsor.
The Steering Committee for the event has unveiled Port Elgin Chrysler as the lead sponsor for the 2022 provincial men’s curling championship to be held at The Plex in Port Elgin from Feb. 9-13, 2022.
“The title sponsor of such events is often a major national corporation and the benefits are seldom tangible to the local community. Port Elgin Chrysler is a local business, and we trust that their investment will generate great returns to them as a sponsor and, in turn, to our community,” says Steering Committee Chair Doug Flowers in a statement. “It is thrilling to have them on board.”

The Ontario Tankard is the provincial championship for men’s curling in the southern part of the province. The winner of the event represents Team Ontario at the Tom Hortons Brier.
