Public Health Grey Bruce reported seven new cases of COVID-19 Sunday.
Two residents of Owen Sound tested positive as well as two in Grey Highlands, one in Saugeen Shores, one in South Bruce Peninsula, and one in Georgian Bluffs
The Health Unit says, with 14 resolved cases, there are 103 active known cases in the region including 44 variants.
They say there are 395 active high-risk contacts associated with the region’s cases.
Four local people are hospitalized in Grey and Bruce due to COVID-19, and two are hospitalized outside Grey Bruce due to COVID-19. Five cases have been transferred from other Health Units to local Intensive Care Units.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have been five deaths linked to Grey Bruce.
6800 COVID-19 vaccines were given locally in the past seven days, for a total of 54,209 doses in Grey Bruce to date.
