Expect to hear a lot of bangs and booms at CFB Borden over the next six weeks.
Soldiers from the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre Ammunition Technical Officer course will be conducting controlled detonations at the base, starting today until June 1, 2021.
The military says up to 20 controlled detonations will take place daily, excluding weekends, between the hours of approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
However, it adds that at no time will this training pose a risk to the local population or infrastructure.
