Hi, this is Fred Wallace with ” Off the Wire ” proudly sponsored by Pete’s Auto Body.

Uncertainty.
We’ve lived with it for the better part of 14 months.
And the unknown has forced everybody to make contingency plans and then revise those plans again & again
Owen Sound Minor Soccer is an an example of that, pushing ahead with their registration and plans for a 2021 season for both House League and Rep programs.
The primary message for those who want to play, or hope to play, is register early on the Minor Soccer website.
At the House League level, 50 player bubbles will be established for the various age brackets.
It’s notable that once the first 50 youngsters sign up for an age bracket bubble, another bubble cannot be created at that level UNLESS there are 50 more youngsters registered.
So act NOW !!
Plus, the bubbles are to never intersect.
Rep teams are a little more complex in that Owen Sound would be coordinating with other centres and obviously other health units.
As it stands, Owen Sound would compete with 2 other centres for a time period, again with a 50 player bubble restriction for the 3 centres, which would be followed by a 2 week isolation break and then Owen Sound would encounter another 2 centres in the next phase.
Again, that’s the projection, not necessarily a certainty, but the primary message remains ” register now at owensoundminorsoccer.ca ” and see what unfolds in the soccer season ahead.
For Pete’s Auto Body I’m Fred Wallace
