Collingwood’s Accessibility Advisory Committee is seeking new members.
The town says if you are a person with a disability as identified by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), please consider applying.
The AODA requires that membership to this committee be comprised of a majority of its members having a disability.
This would include but not be limited to:
- any degree of physical disability,
- a condition of mental impairment or developmental disability,
- learning disability,
- mental health disorder,
- or an injury or disability for which benefts were claimed or received under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.
