Three new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Tuesday.
Residents of Hanover, Chatsworth and Grey Highlands tested positive.
With six resolved cases, there are 63 known active cases in the region including 21 variants.
Public Health says there are 400 high-risk contacts associated with the region’s active cases.
Two people are hospitalized due to the virus locally, and two local people are hospitalized outside the region.
Four people from Grey Bruce have died from COVID-19 over the course of the pandemic.
32,134 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Grey and Bruce to date.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit is working with Bluewater District School Board to address a confirmed case of COVID-19, associated with Beaver Valley Community School in Thornbury.
They say there is no evidence of transmission within the school environment and no bus routes are involved with the case.
The Health Unit says it has identified all others, both in and out of the school environment, who may have been exposed and have determined their risk level.
They say any cohorts that have been identified as contacts to the case have been excluded from school at this time.
