Despite fundraising through a global pandemic, the United Way of Perth-Huron far exceeded their 2020-2021 campaign goal.
Organizers announced a goal last year of $1.762 million.
The United Way announced they raised $1,924,517, an 18 per cent rise from last year.
“With everyone dealing with the ongoing pandemic and the challenges it presents, we weren’t sure what to expect. But our communities responded and embraced how important it was to help those in need,” says Executive Director Ryan Erb.
