Provincial Police have arrested and charged a youth following two break-ins at Mount Forest businesses.
On March 27 around midnight, police responded to an alarm at a business on Main St. South.
When they arrived, officers found that an individual had entered the business but no property appeared to be missing. Police say the suspect fled when the alarm went off.
Then on March 28, around 3 p.m., Wellington County OPP received word of another break-in on a Main St. South business, believing that it occurred sometime overnight.
Police charged a 17-year-old from North Perth with break and enter related offences.
The accused is set to appear in youth court in Guelph at a later date.
Police are requesting that if anyone has any information about these incidents to contact Wellington County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
