St. Anthony’s School in Kincardine is closed until April 9th and will hold classes remotely.
The Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board says in a letter to families, recent probable and positive COVID-19 cases have resulted in a number of staff who are following isolation guidelines.
The Board says it cannot presently get enough staff and supply staff to cover absences to safely run the school.
Public Health says this is not something the Grey Bruce Health Unit has ordered the school to do, they say it is strictly a staffing availability issue.
Remote learning is expected to continue from today until Friday April 9th, (5 Instructional Days).
