A traffic stop in South Bruce Peninsula has resulted in drug related charges.
Last Thursday evening Grey Bruce OPP stopped a rental truck on William St. in Wiarton where officers arrested the operator of the vehicle, who was a prohibited driver as a result of previous incidents. Police say the driver also had outstanding warrants.
Further investigation led police to arrest the passenger as well for allegedly trafficking drugs.
A 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both from South Bruce Peninsula, are facing multiple charges including trafficking drugs and possessing counterfeit money.
Both are set to appear in Owen Sound court in April.
