More vaccine doses are coming for Canadians in June than had previously been expected.
Today Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced some welcome news from Pfizer.
“Pfizer has now confirmed that they will be moving up five million doses from later in the summer into June,” he said. “That will bring our total from 4.6 million to 9.6 million doses for that month alone.”
More than six million doses of Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines have been delivered to the provinces so far.
3.2 million more are being delivered this week.
