Public Health reported seven new cases of COVID-19 in Grey Bruce Monday.
Two residents of Blue Mountains tested positive as well as two in Owen Sound, two in South Bruce Peninsula and one in South Bruce.
With four resolved cases and eight referrals from other health units, there are 40 active cases in the region and seven active variants.
Three people are hospitalized due to the virus.
Over the course of the pandemic, there have been two deaths linked to COVID-19 locally.
18,871 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Grey and Bruce to date.
This week’s shipment of vaccine is expected to be 5,850 Pfizer doses.
