In its first update since the weekend, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 141 new COVID-19 cases, along with two more deaths related to the virus.
The latest victims were two women over the age of 79 from Innisfil and Barrie, whose cases were not linked to any outbreaks.
The health unit also reports 1,006 cases have screened positive as a variant of concern, which is up 120 cases since Friday.
The new cases reported today include:
