The Meaford Hospital Foundation has a new CEO.
Rob Peacock will be joining the Foundation on April 12th.
A release says Peacock is from Collingwood, and brings a wealth of experience as a Certified Fundraising Professional to Meaford, Town of the Blue Mountains, Grey Highlands and surrounding areas.
As Past Chair of the Association of Fundraising Professionals for Canada, Peacock has stated that he is “thrilled to be working with Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford”.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and is a Faculty member for the Master’s in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership at Carleton University, Canada’s first Master’s program in Philanthropy, where he also sits on the Advisory Board. He has authored two textbooks on Fundraising.
Most recently, Peacock served as Team Lead for the Ontario Division of The Salvation Army. He has also held senior positions at Habitat for Humanity Canada, Junior Achievement of Canada, Mt. Sinai Hospital Foundation and the University of Toronto.
The Foundation is established to raise, receive and manage money for the purpose of purchasing capital equipment and building improvements at the Meaford Hospital.
