Six new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Grey Bruce Health Unit Sunday.
Two residents of Chatsworth tested positive, as well as one in Owen Sound, The Town of The Blue Mountains, Northern Bruce Peninsula and Arran Elderslie.
With one resolved case, there are 29 active cases in the region, eight of which are deemed variants of concern.
Over the course of the pandemic there have been two deaths in Grey Bruce related to COVID-19.
Public Health says 18,871 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered locally to date.

Public Health says three people are hospitalized because they are sick with the virus. Meanwhile, the Health Unit says there is an outbreak at the hospital in Owen Sound affecting four other patients who were there for other reasons. (Meaning they are in hospital with COVID-19, but not in hospital because of COVID-19) They say the outbreak is contained to one floor, and there’s no risk to the public.
Meanwhile, the Health Unit says it is working with the Grey Bruce Health Services to address cases of COVID-19 associated with four patients in the hospital.
They say the outbreak is contained to one floor, and Public Health measures are in place to mitigate the risk of transmission, including lockdown and visitor restrictions.
The Health Unit says there is no additional risk to the public.
Public Health also notes, it is investigating a COVID-19 case associated with The Pub on 2nd Ave East in Owen Sound. They say currently, there is no evidence of transmission of COVID-19 between patrons within the bar.
The Health Unit says there is a potential risk of transmission to those who were there on the evenings of Wednesday, March 17, and Thursday March 18, 2021.
The Health Unit is advising anyone who visited the The Pub on those evenings to get a COVID-19 test on any date between March 25th and March 27th.
