Spring officially arrives this weekend.
The spring equinox in the Northern Hemisphere occurs at 5:37 A.M. EDT tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
It occurs when the Sun crosses the equator line, heading north and after this date, the Northern Hemisphere begins to be tilted more toward the Sun, resulting in increasing daylight hours and warming temperatures.
The arrival of spring will also bring the return of double-digit temperatures and plenty of sunshine.
