A recycling truck hit a building in Midland Friday morning. There were no injuries, but the office building has significant structural damage according to the OPP.
The truck was sitting unattended on Borsa Lane when it went backwards across Hugel Avenue and into the side of the building.
An OPP commercial vehicle specialist is investigating into how and why the truck got moving.
Town of Midland building inspectors are assessing the damage and the area around Borsa Lane has been closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
