Let’s play trivia.
Today, March 11th, marks the 1 year anniversary of the last Ontario Hockey League game played in Owen Sound before COVID 19 posted a one year shutout ( & counting ).
Who did the Attack play ?
Answer- the Barrie Colts
Who won ?
The Colts 4-1
Who was the first star ?
Barrie’s underage defender Connor Punnett who scored his first 2 OHL goals.
I found it interesting that of the 13 scoring points in the game, 10 of the 13 points were accumulated by players acquired via trade by the Attack & Barrie.
The Colts had sold off last year and believed through their acquisitions, like Punnett, that they were in great shape for this year and next……..
Who was the 2nd star ?
Again a Colt, netminder Jet Greaves who made 42 saves as an undermanned Barrie team was outshot but still managed to win.
And who scored the last Owen Sound goal

That’s right….. Barret Kirwin
Final trivia answer is 2,683, the number of fans in attendance & my guess is every one of those people would love to go to a Colts game tonight in Barrie or Saturday night at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore in Owen Sound.
For Pete’s Auto Body I’m Fred Wallace
