A man has been arrested, after he allegedly made threats at a Bracebridge bank.
Police were called to a financial institution on Muskoka Road 118 around 4 yesterday (wed) afternoon, about a client at the bank, who was asked to leave and started causing a disturbance.
Police say the client then left the location and made a telephone call indicating he would return and proceeded to utter threats.
The bank’s doors remained locked until the man was taken into custody a short time later.
Police have charged 40 year-old Jeremy Lengyel of Bracebridge with Causing a Disturbance CC 175(1) (a) and Uttering Threats Cause death or Bodily Harm CC 264.1(1) (a).
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on April 13, 2021 to answer to the charges
