A 33 year old Georgian Bluffs woman faces impaired driving charges after a single vehicle collision in Keppel.
Grey Bruce OPP say on March 5th, 2021 at 7:49 p.m. officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Lindenwood Road, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Police say they were assisted at the scene by the Inter-Township Fire Department and two patients were transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
According to OPP, the involved driver was arrested for impaired driving. They say a breath test recorded readings over the legal limit of 80 milligrams (mgs) of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
The collision knocked out power for about 1,800 Hydro One customers in Georgian Bluffs for a period of time Friday.
At about the same time, people in the area posted on social media about seeing a green flash in the sky at about 7:45.
Whether the flash and the damage to the hydro pole are related, has not been confirmed.
