After a year off, the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund “Run Around The Square” is back for 2021.
Last May’s fundraising run in Goderich for life-saving defibrillators was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions, but is returning virtually this year.
Race Co-Director Brenda Orr says runners can choose from five and ten kilometre runs, as well as half marathons.
Orr tells Country 104.9 News participants can do their run any time between May 28th and 30th, and submit their times through the organization’s website.
Runs can be done anywhere, including a treadmill.
Prizes will also be awarded for several non-race related categories, including best costume, and best finish.
Orr says a draw will also take place for a bicycle from 360 Bikes & Boards in Goderich.
Registration will remain open until May 28th, but runners who register before April 29th will receive a Run Around the Square t-shirt.
