Several free seminars are scheduled for March and April, to better understand how immigration impacts Huron County.
The county’s Immigration Partnership has scheduled Multicultural Outreach Coordinator Leroy Hibbert to speak virtually on Wednesday, March 17th.
Hibbert will discuss key concepts, challenging myths and stereotypes, as well as allow supportive conversations to improve ethnic sensitivity.
Diversity Consultant Andrea Moffat will hold two seminars (March 26th and 31st), discussing how to be an ally of racialized groups.
Unconscious bias and microaggressions will be discussed on April 8th by Dharshi Lacey, Director of Diversity and Governance at Pillar Nonprofit Network.
