The city of Owen Sound will in fact be the home centre for a Major Series Lacrosse club.
Owner Joe Norton confirmed he received official approval Wednesday night to shift the operation of the Brampton Excelsiors franchise to Owen Sound.
Norton, who also owns and operates the Owen Sound Bug Juice Senior NorthStars Lacrosse club, confirmed the move was in effect in the Fall.
However, based on objections launched in Brampton at various levels, the move was delayed for a period of a couple months.
