A Chesley man is more than $72,000 richer after a lucky win on a lottery ticket.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says John Morris of Chesley won $72,345 after winning a Lotto 6/49 second prize in the Dec. 12, 2020.
The second prize in Lotto 6/49 is awarded when a player matches five numbers plus the bonus number.
The 77-year-old great grandfather is a regular lottery player and plans to purchase a camp for fishing.
“I may consider purchasing some toys to enjoy at camp as well,” Morris says.
The winning ticket was purchased at Chesley Convenience Plus on First Avenue.
