A tip about a possible drunk driver at a business in Craighurst has resulted in an arrest.
Police say they were called to the business on Monday afternoon, when a concerned citizen reported a driver who was believed to be impaired.
Officers arrived just as the driver was getting back into his vehicle and intervened before he could put the vehicle in motion again.
A 53 year old Barrie man was arrested.
Police say Leonard Lusty has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking and is set to appear on May 11, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia.
