A traffic stop in Orillia has resulted in the arrest of a wanted man.
Rama Police determined the man was wanted by Brockville Police and a suspended driver, after his vehicle was stopped on King Street late last night.
Police say Neil Foster aged 42 of Toronto, was arrested and as a result of the ensuing investigation he was further arrested and charged with:
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order CC 117.01(1) X 3
- Fail to comply with probation order CC 733.1(1) X 2
- Possession of weapons for dangerous purpose CC 88 X 2
- Possession of scheduled 1 substance cocaine CDSA 4(1)
- Possession of a scheduled 1 substance for the purposes of trafficking cocaine CDSA 5(2)
- Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available CCA2017 12(1) and driving while under suspension HTA 53(1).
He was released on a Form 10 to appear before court at a later date. The rental motor vehicle was towed and impounded.
