A handful of case of COVID-19 were confirmed in the latest report for Huron and Perth counties.
Public health officials announced five new cases over the weekend, bringing the number of active coronavirus cases to 21.
Three cases were confirmed in Stratford, and one case each was confirmed in North Huron and Perth East.
One new death was also reported, bringing the local death toll from COVID-19 to fifty.
Stratford currently leads the region in active cases, with eight.
In Huron County, Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh has two active cases, followed by one case each in South Huron, North Huron, Howick Township, and Goderich.
