A petition has been created to reverse the lockdown in Simcoe Muskoka.
It was created by Emil Kamel, who is the owner of North Swing Golf Lounge in Barrie.
He says the local small business owners have continued to follow all guidelines and the new restrictions are unacceptable.
But he clarifies this is not an “anti-masker” or a “COVID-19 doesn’t exist” movement.
The petition states there has not been a single reported outbreak in any restaurant, gym, salon, day spa, recreational facility or other small businesses in our region that have all complied with restrictions.
