The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit has released details of its vaccine roll out.
As of March 1, people in a number of priority groups will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
They include:
– Adults 85 years of age and older.
– Indigenous adults 55 years of age and older and their adult household members..
-Adult recipients of chronic home care.
-Staff, residents and caregivers in other congregate care settings for seniors such as assisted living.
The health unit will use mobile clinics.
It also plans to open Community clinics across the region including Barrie, Orillia, South Georgian Bay and Muskoka.
All clinics are by appointment only.
