No new virus-related deaths have been reported in the latest update by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, but it included 43 new COVID-19 cases in the region.
The health unit says 3 more local cases have tested positive for the UK variant for a total of 174, while another 57 cases have screened positive for a variant of concern and are awaiting confirmatory testing.
The new cases reported on Wednesday include:

1 Clearview
6 Tiny
8 Innisfil
7 Bradford
3 New Tecumseth
1 Adjala-Tosorontio
1 Gravenhurst
