A traffic stop in Barrie has led to drug and weapons charges.
Police say around 930 Sunday night, officers observed a vehicle abruptly cross two lanes of live traffic in the area of Essa and Fairview Roads.
A traffic stop was conducted, and upon investigation, a quantity of drugs and cash were discovered, along with several prohibited knives.
A 33-year-old woman from Collingwood and a 37-year-old man from Wasaga Beach are facing a combined 20 charges including Possession of CDSA, Possession of CDSA for the Purpose of Trafficking, as well as charges for Unauthorized Possession of Weapons.
Both were released on an Undertaking with future court dates.
