In its first update since the start of the Family Day long weekend, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 123 new cases of COVID-19, along with six more deaths related to the virus.
The new cases announced today include:
51 Barrie
5 Orillia
1 Severn
3 Collingwood
2 Springwater
5 Penetanguishene
1 Midland
3 Tay
1 Clearview
1 Bracebridge
1 Gravenhurst
1 Huntsville
The health unit also lists three new UK B-117 variant cases, bringing the region’s total to 153, with 131 more possible cases awaiting a secondary test to confirm.
Meanwhile, the province is reporting 904 cases of COVID-19 and 13 additional deaths today.
