Collingwood’s Water Department is working to resolve some operational issues in the drinking water system.
It says customers may experience temporary fluctuations in the pressure of their water supply and/or discoloured water today.
Should you notice any discolouration when full pressure is restored, it advises you to run your cold water tap for approximately 5 minutes.
The town says the best location to do this is in your bathtub as there are no screens to stop any fine sand or silt, allowing the lines to be completely flushed.
