Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any long-term care or retirement homes, or any schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
However, the health unit says it is working with Queen of Hearts Nursery School in Owen Sound to address a probable case associated with a cohort at the childcare centre.
“While there is a person with probable COVID-19 associated with a cohort at this childcare centre, our assessment, to date, indicates that transmission did not take place within the childcare centre environment,” a release from the health unit explains. “Currently there are no outbreaks (i.e. evidence of transmission from person to person) in any schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.”
As for vaccination progress, Public Health says 1,320 doses have been administered in Grey Bruce to date.
