The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported seven new Covid cases and one recovery in the region on Friday.
According to Public Health, two people from Grey Highlands, two from Huron-Kinloss, and residents of Southgate, Saugeen Shores and Kincardine tested positive.
The active known case load in the region increased to 32, as new infections outpacted recoveries.
One person from the area is currently hospitalized. There has been one death in Grey Bruce due to Covid.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Friday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks at any long-term care or retirement homes, or any schools or childcare centres in Grey Bruce.
