Four more deaths related to COVID19 and 45 new infections have been reported in the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s latest update.
The deaths were all women over 80, three from Barrie’s Roberta Place and one from Innisfil, whose case was linked to an outbreak at RVH.
According to the health unit, 90 local cases have tested positive for the UK COVID-19 variant of concern, while an additional 57 cases have screened positive and are awaiting confirmatory testing.
