OPP in Collingwood say a crash involving a snowmobile and an SUV in Blue Mountains has claimed the life of a person from Clarksburg.
Police say they were called at 2:45 Saturday afternoon to the 10th Line in The Blue Mountains.
They say their initial investigation revealed the snowmobile was travelling southbound on 10th Line.
The SUV had partially entered the 10th Line from a private drive.
In an attempt to avoid the vehicle, the snowmobile lost control and the driver was ejected.
Police say the Driver of the snowmobile, a 56-year-old from Clarksburg, has died.
They say the driver and passenger of the SUV didn’t not report any injuries at the time.
