The 2021 Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program application period has been extended.
Employment and Social Development Canada says employers interested in applying for funding to hire a young person can now submit their applications until Wednesday February 3, 2021.
The program provides wage subsidies to employers with 50 or fewer employees in the public and private sectors as well as not-for-profit organizations.
Funded employers are not restricted to hiring students. All youth aged 15 to 30 years may be eligible participants.
