One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Grey Bruce Tuesday (Jan 26)
Public Health says that case is located in Hanover.
With two recoveries, the Health Unit says there are 22 active cases in the region and one active probable case. Probable cases are not lab confirmed, but are symptomatic and are high-risk contacts of an active case.
The Health Unit says there are 76 high risk contacts associated with the region’s cases.
Two people are currently hospitalized locally. Public Health says one has been intubated.
No one has died locally from the virus.
Public Health says there are no outbreaks in schools, childcare centres or long-term care homes in Grey Bruce.
Meanwhile, the Health Unit administered 190 Doses of COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday.
In total, 390 vaccines have been administered in Grey and Bruce. They also received a shipment of 600 Doses of vaccine received in the past 24 hours, making 800 Doses of COVID-19 vaccine received to date.
