No Class For 2021
The Baseball Hall of Fame will not have any inductees in 2021.
No players were elected as every eligible player on the ballot came up short of the required 75 per cent threshold.
Among the prominent names to miss out were Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens, two players largely linked to the ” Steroid Era ” in Major League Baseball.
Pitcher Curt Schilling was among those also bypassed in the voting and he has demanded to have his name removed from the ballot for his 10th and final year of eligibility.
