A 42 year old Owen Sound man faces charges after an alleged assault in a store in Georgian Bluffs.
Police say on Tuesday (Jan 26) just after 12 p.m. they were called to a report of an assault at a store on Highway 21, on the Sunset Strip, on the outskirts of Owen Sound.
According to OPP, a suspect had stolen items from a store and then an altercation ensued after they were confronted by a store employee in the parking lot as the suspect tried to leave the scene.
Police officers located the suspect nearby and arrested him.
They say a store employee received minor injuries.
OPP have charged the 42 year old Owen Sound man with assault, and theft under $5,000.
