A call about a couple of suspected shoplifters in Orillia has resulted in numerous theft, drug and weapons charges against two women.
Police say they were called on Friday about two women acting suspiciously at a downtown business and had possibly shoplifted.
Officers arrived and were unable to locate the suspects, but a short time later, police received a similar call from a business on Murphy Road, where two women were taken into custody and linked to the previous incident.
